The right to counsel, vital in protecting our freedoms, is not free. New York’s elected officials need to hear that funding for our public defense system has public support.

Those most directly affected by public defense services cannot easily by themselves obtain the attention of elected officials or the media. You can help them, and the cause of justice, by giving generously to The Justice Fund.
